We can never understand why so few boats sail through the winter months, and we take particular pride in preparing well for our forays out into the winter unknown. We study the forecasts in great detail, dress in full Atlantic suits, wear lifelines, set storm sails, confine ourselves to the cockpit zone, and sail defensively at all times. As the saying goes, "Prepare well to sail safely". FOC. Dec 2017.

Mum, Dad, Ead, Jim, Cormac, and Delia joined us (Fia and Carina) for a BBQ in Dun Laoghaire in Mid August 2018. A wonderful evening which turned into another "O Caoimh/Mc Namara" sing-song!

Dad sailed "Mermaids"in his day, racing (if I remember correctly) from Dun Laoghaire up the Liffey.
